N.B. tobacco investments ‘illegal,’ says Cardy – New Brunswick – CBC News.

This is the first time I have seen a senior politician state on the record that tobacco investments are illegal.  Certainly if New Brunswick has any role in tobacco regulation, then these investments are in breach of the FCTC guidelines quoted in the article, and may well breach the Treaty itself.

The Australian Capital Territory Pension Fund has moved to ban tobacco investments, as reported by the Canberra Times.
